LOCAL RULES

• Ground Under Repair (GUR) - (Rule 16-1b abnormal ground conditions – FREE DROP)

Heather areas are defined as GUR. If a player’s ball, stance and area of swing interferes with a heather area, a ball MUST be dropped without penalty. If a ball is not found the entry point must be agreed and dropped accordingly.

Ice plant beds are not defined as GUR

           If player’s ball, stance of swing area interferes with an area marked by blue stakes or areas painted as GUR,

           a ball MAY be dropped without penalty.

• Immovable Obstructions - (Rule 24.2 - FREE DROP)

            All artificially surfaced buggy paths (trimmed bushes adjacent to the cart paths are part of the same

            obstruction), irrigation units and hydrant boxes, all course furniture and lighting units are immovable

            obstructions. Player’s stance or intended swing area must interfere with the unit to get a fee drop.

             Players CANNOT get a free drop from lighting units just because it is on the line of play.

• Drop Zones (amateur only)

            If a ball is in or it is virtually certain that a ball that has not been found is in the penalty area at hole 6, the

            player may proceed under Rule 17-1d; or as an additional option, drop a ball, under penalty of one stroke,

           in the drop zone in front at to the side of the lake

• Protection of Orange Trees

           If player’s ball, stance or intended swing area interferes with an orange tree, a ball MUST be dropped in

           accordance with Rule 16-1b (Abnormal Ground Conditions).

• Out Of Bounds – (Rule 27)

a- Beyond boundary fence

b- Beyond white stakes or white painted line

c- OB Holes (1, 3, 10, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18)

• Water Hazards – (Rule 26)

a- Water hazards are marked with Yellow Stakes/Lines

b- Lateral Water hazards are marked with Red

stakes/Lines

• Stones in Bunkers – (Rule 24.1)

Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions

• Ground Under Repair – (Rule 25)

All areas marked by blue stakes or areas painted as G.U.R

• Penalty for breach of local rules

Match Play – Loss of Hole; Stroke Play – 2 Strokes

COURSE ETIQUETTE

• Dress Code – Softspike shoes must be worn, No denim, tracksuits or Tennis clothing. Men’s shirts must

have collars and sleeves, shorts must be tailored. Ladies’ shirts without collars must have sleeves

• Please keep off the heather areas. Only enter heather areas to recover a ball
• Please repair all pitch marks on greens
• Please replace divots on fairways
• Please rake bunkers after use. All rakes to be placed inside the bunkers
• Pace of Play – Players must keep up with the group in front at all times
• Course Marshals – All Marshals have instructions TO

BE STRICT on pace of play and etiquette. Any player

seen unfit to play at a suitable level or unable to keep up with

the pace of play or not adhering to the instructions of

the Marshals nor respecting the rules and etiquette,

WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE COURSE

• Buggy use – Please use buggy paths when it’s possible and keep away from greens, young plants and

protected areas. (In case of heavy rain and wet condition only the buggy paths MUST be used throughout the

course). Persons under 16 years of age are NOT permitted to drive golf carts.
